They asked us to design a contemporary replacement for their bungalow. We worked closely with the planning department to ensure the new house sits within the existing footprint.
Our design is for a two-storey home with oversized dormers creating large house that references the bungalow is replaces while providing all the space our clients need.
The house is defined by a feature staircase, large windows and dark exterior cladding. A large kitchen dining space is located at the back of ground floor leading directly to the garden terraces. The part closest to the garden is double-height with dramatic views.
