Barton Manor Hotel is located on the outskirts of Preston in the northwest of England. Alongside 103 bedrooms, this 4-star hotel has a spa, function rooms and an award-winning restaurant.
We have worked with the family who own the hotel for a number of years, supporting them in the expansion plans. An initial project focused on the refurbishments of existing rooms.
A lodge building in the hotel grounds was then renovated and extended to provide additional rooms and space for entertaining guests.
The next phase of works included more substation expansion. The concept was for a large three-storey extension comprising of four modern block at the font of the hotel. Together they create a new entrance and lobby, new function room and external terrace and 50 new hotel rooms. This scheme was approved in 2021 and completed in 2025.
It adds over 20,000 square feet of floorspace to the hotel and doubles the size of the hotel.
