The team behind the club, asked us to develop a proposals to convert a unit at Vaughan Street Industrial Estate in West Gorton, Manchester into a padel centre.
The aspiration is for this padel centre to significantly enhance the local area, attracting more people from the city centre and surrounding areas.
Our plans included 12 padel courts with associated reception area, changing rooms and food & beverage facilities in a mezzanine level.
The padel courts are created using powder metal frames that can be easily installed. The idea is that the padel court are a temporary fixture and can be easily removed whenever necessary. A restricted palette of materials has been used throughout to maintain simplicity, visual understanding and a contemporary appearance.
Carbon Padel Club is the largest and only purpose-designed padel club in the UK.
